Key responsibilities 重要職責(zé) Categories in headlines the key responsibilities that demonstrate the variety of roles that the organization expects the position to fulfill. List the main responsibilities in the job (3-6 headlines) ? Support business expense & compliance through expense review and financial KPI management (40%) ? Provide training and consultant to foster and reinforce mind-set of full compliance of both Financial and BE policy (30%) – provide training and consultant to ensure full understanding and execution of Financial and BE policy, tax regulation and activity system (NEW). ? Support Business Spending optimization (15%) - Provide professional expenses analysis and training to support LoB to meet expenses budget and optimize spending.(NEW) ? Compliance of Business Ethics (10%) – Build up business ethics culture in compliant with FCPA, RDPAC code and BE SOP in Novo Nordisk China through training and consulting. Perform audit against expense claim and marketing activities as well as case investigation to ensure a BE compliant environment in Region China. ? Continuously improvement of the work procedures (5%) - Continuous improve the AP process to achieve higher level of productivity in the work.
Main job tasks 主要工作任務(wù) For each headline indicated above the job tasks should be described in more detail. Percentage 比例 1) Support business expense & compliance through expense review and financial KPI management · To review personal reimbursement and vendor payment application for responsible departments/sales region within defined timeline · To ensure correct accounting treatment in accordance with Global Accounting Definition and required local regulations · To ensure tax compliance including individual income tax (IIT) for HCP, input VAT, enterprise income tax (EIT) compliance with PRC regulations · To ensure the compliance upon sufficient supporting documents are in line with Novo Nordisk finance policies and Business Ethics through expense review and communicate with internal employee with rejection reason · To communicate with responsible department/region for monthly expense accrual and make correct posting in SAP · To support year end PWC audit for expense parts and Sarbox audit for ‘month/year end closing’ sub-process and ‘payment’ sub-process · To support annual Global Internal Audit for Business Ethics with no major findings from the perspective of supporting documents · To meet all deadline for month/year end closing so that to well support reporting team for regular closing · To communicate with responsible department/region for monthly expense accrual and make correct posting in SAP · To manage and tracking related DBD region and Non sales department financial KPIs. To work with related regional management and employees on enhance financial KPI performance. Share best practice throughout regions/departments to help whole company improve financial KPIs. 40 2) Provide training and consultant to foster and reinforce mind-set of full compliance of Financial and BE policy, tax regulation and activity management – provide training and consultant to ensure full understanding and execution of Financial and BE policy, tax regulation and activity management policy (NEW). · To provide day-to-day professional consultant to responsible department/ region on Financial and BE policy, tax regulation and activity management policy (NEW) · To organize trainings to responsible department/region to clarify financial policy and execution of business ethic policy, implementation of tax regulation and activity management policy (NEW). · To better facilitate full understanding and full execution of company policies and tax regulations by every employee in Novo Nordisk China, facilitate to design a full set of training material regarding all policy and standard procedures, and make it easy for employee to access. · To visit sales team, remote office in all cities within China, to coach employee to be familiar with NN policy and business ethical requirements and clarify any doubt. · To perform timely feedback of Financial and BE performance of DBD, continuously communicate with Regional Directors and ABMs to ensure the awareness of team’s performance and agreement of further actions to improve. · To coach managers in business department/region, especially new managers for expenditure management, to assist them to be familiar with financial reports, consequently to well manage their budget and business 30 3) Support Business Spending optimization - Provide professional expenses analysis and training to support LoB to meet expenses budget and optimize spending.(NEW) · To better control and facilitate cost-efficient spending of DBD regions and Non-DBD departments, this role need to follow the instruction from finance manager to provide professional expenses analysis to regional/department management on periodical basis, and follow up with valuable actions. (NEW) · To support LoB to manage cost by customized trainings. (NEW) · Other ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager or Finance Management. (NEW) 15 4) Compliance of Business Ethics – Build up business ethics culture in compliant with FCPA, RDPAC code and BE SOP in Novo Nordisk China through training and consulting. Perform audit against expense claim and marketing activities as well as case investigation to ensure a BE compliant environment in Region China. · With challenges of market condition, demanding government policies and frequent visit from authorities, the position need to foster Business Ethics mind-set of all employees and build up a culture of full compliance. · To ensure spending make on ethical manners via expenses review. · To continuously communicate with stakeholders to improve their understanding of the policy and implication and seek feedback to improve the policy and implication process. · To build up a full compliant culture in Novo Nordisk China and prevent risks of wrong practice, the role needs to identify risks during expense monitoring and perform case investigation. 10 5) Continuously improvement of the work procedures - Continuous improve the AP process to achieve higher level of productivity in the work. · Continuous improve the AP process including optimizing the reimbursement system for business need, improving AP review procedures, updating better policies and tools, to achieve higher level of productivity in the work · Work proactively with other teams across functions in NNCP, to provide more value added · Collect system development/enhancement request regarding to ICE and Concur from LOB and communicate these request with LOB and NNIT/BIT/CEM-GSC, facilitate related projects · Other ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager or Finance Management 5
